What is finance? 

 Finance is a subject of a management of money. It is art and science of using money. We can also say that it is indicator of collecting sources of fund and uses of fund for achieving objectives of individual, business firm and government. 

finance includes the activities of managing money, investing, borrowing, lending budgeting, saving and forecasting. 

 

for example: 

- Issue of shares, debentures, Boud of the company. 

-Loan taken from Bank 

- Investing in companies' stocks. 

 

There are mainly three types of finance: 

i. Individual finance: Individual finance means the finance about individual person or families. 

ii. corporate finance: corporate finance means the finance about business organization. 

iii, Government finance: Government finance means the finance about the government 

 

 Conclusions: 

 We can say that finance means art of managing the whole financial activities according to scientific manner is called finance.
